Remember how short is life

Prague, Czech Republic (1 of 30)

As I find myself walking the streets of Prague I began a new form of photography that once was not in my realm. Street photography. Consistently keeping my camera strapped across my shoulder behind my right arm has led to myself always looking to make a photograph, and paying closer attention to the many details of the city and Czech culture. Upon arrival I noticed practically everyone and their dog can be seen taking a smoke everywhere I look. Different modes of smoking tobacco from traditional prepackaged cigarettes, pipes, and rolling one’s own cigarettes on the spot seem to be on every corner of these cobblestone streets.

I noticed a woman having a smoke with her friend near a tram stop in Old Town. Prague seems to be a city unaffected by harmful consequences smoking poses despite the disgusting images displayed on all the nation’s tobacco products. Without a worry in her eyes she places what she knows is no good to her mouth to inhale. Life seems to have vices that one can pick and choose as they please, but with each risking repercussions that could impact the future.
